is it me or do you don't see the steps
in the shot? anyway it's very cool. i like
the perspective and how the values really
demonstrate the concept of descending into
darkness.

gorgeous futuristic shot... somehow escalator seems like the wrong word doesn't it :) descalator sounds crap too...
mechanical staircase maybe :)
the bikes and street activity through the side windows just add a little touch of normality to this which is surprising (i didn't notice it for several seconds :))
nice work. the blue tinge really adds to the effect (was this how the shot came out originally?)
here's to the new deviantART 'escalators' section...

Bah, makes me want to hate Britain for being so inferior in the modern architecture stakes. Mind you, we do have some nice old stuff...

I obviously must go to this airport now. Gorgeous image.

i see very philosophical connotations in this deviation, and they are old and true.

wisdom.

you are fortunate to be so talented!

keep it up, girl! (as though there is any doubt that you will)

The photo is very interesting and my eye cannot help but travel up to the " holes" above for the railing looks like it leads as a direct path to them....and I think of a scene from Yellow Submarine in which the Nowhere Man is jumping in and out of a sea of holes.
