Artist's Comments

The disorienting descent into the dreamworld can be so strangely scary yet beautifully surreal. I have been wanting to do a series that captures this mood. Sometimes my dream life is more visceral than my reality.

This is encapsulating. It makes you confused and disorientated, but in a good way, no doubt. This is something ive been waiting to see. Im not sure how, but it makes me pleased to see it ^_^

:#1: You definitely have created that dreamlike, maybe even nightmare, effect. Great job.

This is great! You've done a wonderful job of making your concept clear and apparent.
As for the technical aspects, I love the texture and feel of this. The circular-like blur really accentuates the tunnel-like feel of the descent. The eerie green colour is perfect and the lighting sets everything of exactly as it should (ok, I admit, as far as a technical critique goes, that was pretty vague, but its the best I can do right now).
As a whole it draws me in and makes me want to go and explore my dream world. Luckily, its bed time, so I can. :)

Now this is one damn original take on escalators. I think that you totally succeeded into translating dream into reality thru this picture. Great blut and sense of lateral (?!?) motion and the fourfold reflection of the guy down the escalator is disturbing and reassuring.
OK, :+fav:
