I guess the title could apply to all of us on some level.
Walking with ease is one of the most complex, yet taken for granted, tasks that human beings perform. It is amazing how we do not appreciate so many of our gifts until impaired or removed completely.

Taken in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico on a very steep and beautifully dilapidated street.

his face is withered like the wall behind him. he's hunched & slow. but he's still moving. though down, down. this is an amazing shot; so full of forlorn perseverance [towards something i'm not sure i'll ever understand]. fantastic!

Really great expression. I love this kind of street photography.
Did you use a B/W filter (yellow) when shootin' this ?

i find it sad that such a photo from a distinguished artist on da has not got so much attention. the concept is sublime and the tones are so expressive

Saying these words feels naughty, dangerous, too direct, too specific, wrong, intense, in charge, alive.

Very powerful and emotional capture. Yeah I guess we do take full functioning motor skills for granted, but I think we all realize that with age we slowly lose some. I think it's very important how each individual takes it in stride. Looks like this man is still strong and willpowered enough to walk up and down that battered street.
