I got an opportunity to shoot with this model the other day....
Now I know what it is like to work with a true pro...
I am not a big "looks person", but boy, it is sure easy on the eyes to look at certain people.
i like the hat b/c it gives some extra tones/hue to play with i the black and white (and i always think B&W makes for fabulous human portraits - it allows the real person to come out and not cover them up with color so much to me)
also a very seductive look through the shades
what a strong looking MAN he looks like very appropriate title...
this gets over many many pictures i have seen i that picture agency i worked for last year and its truly as good as most of the pictures in magazines. keep up this work and be sure to be on a cover one day dear.
favourite.

It's good work. Well defined lines of light VS shadow. It gives his face definition. He's not my type...lol....I prefer the more gritty appeal...this is just more typical and less creatively defining.
Plus. I don't think the shades do him justice.......I know I know..he is peeking behind in a seductive glare...blah blah..but seriously, if the shades were pushed up more I could connect better with his eyes...or just taken off.....this would allow me to better connect with the man, and less with the sexualized media icon.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

I particularly like the shadowing and dark tones, as well as the reflection in the cool sunglasses.
