Artist's Comments

We exchanged a glance for a moment in the temple of Ankor Wat in Cambodia. They are so kind, and so open to visitors, in spite of the fact that they were persecuted so harshly under the regime of Pol Pot.

Again, I think photojournalism is the true soul of photography. Nothing can outweight capturing real life and bringing a glimpse of the unknown to others. It opens the heart and frees the mind.

Wow, this is impressive on so many levels, sadly the words I'd wish to express it's effect fail me. This image almost seems pulled out of another moment in time [perhaps the sepia at work].

Indeed photojournalism is powerful, the 1,000 words an image is said to hold transcend language and culture when done properly. This capture here illustrates that, as he appears to have a story to share that could perhaps put the world in a different perspective for the listener should he tell it.

Thanks for sharing.

The tone, the textures, the look of the monk... this really does have the feel of a piece that has been found in some great collection of photos from an expedition. Love it.
