Artist's Comments

She knows no fear in the face of the truth, of the unknown.

Purity, warmth and light were all the theme of this portrait.

I wanted to shoot a religious style image that was purely about the facial expression. One where specifics might be open to interpretation, but the emotions were complex and evident.

i soon as i saw the thumbnail i knew it was your image! this is really beautiful. it's beautiful in so many ways. when i first opened the picture, before i even read your description i thought of light, religion, and spirituality. to me, it's as if she is looking at something so beautiful that it is almost to much for her. her eyes draw me in, i think if i stare at her eyes long enough i might see what she is looking at. this is stunning lorraine.

That model is so beautiful. I love the colour you used on her face, the fullness of her lips and the wide-eyed expression.

stunning work, definetly achieved your goal. As for specifics open to interpretation the makeup around the eyes gives this a real futeristic feel to me, makes me think bladerunner then makes me think replicants and then leads me to the question of what place do replicants have in religion etc etc... heh rolling thought... sign of a great shot ;)

This is just......A M A Z I N G.
Fantastic composition with the facial expression and the head wrap. She just looks so saintly and holy.
I can see the purity and holyness in her eyes.
Totally flawless in every way.

This is absolutely beautiful. The make-up is perfect, not taking anything away from the photo and not taking over it, either. The background is perfect as well. Lovely job. Lovely model!

Beautiful colours around the eyes, goes perfect with the strong red on the lips. The model did a great pose here, I get a sence of eerie blankness in it (if that makes any sence).
AMazing as always. :+fav:

Holy shit, what a ride!
