Sleepless at night,
She rests unrestfully in daylight,
Only to be startled with amorphous visions
Of her complicity in horrid plots,
Of icky creatures tasting her flesh,
Of childhood traumas she tries to forget,
Of reduntant and eternal disappointments,
Of her victimhood in unspeakable crimes,
And of the thought that she will never sleep tight again.
