very nice low-key portrait
I would prefer it if the camera was a bit more to the left so her location in the frame was a little to on the right for less tight feeling.
That's of course unless the neckless is an important subject, and than I would put more ephasis on it with lighting and higher posture of the head.
One more tiny suggestion, it would be nice if you placed even a small slave flash to create white spot on her right eye as well as the left it will give better presence to to other eye that is lost in the shaddow.
yeah I agree with Roie, her right eye in the shadow create a weird impression. I think I would have tried to move her head rather the flash a slave but it would have been a different shot so who knows!
Exept that, I like this picture very much (but I must admit her look doesn't look quite intimate in my opinion, but still a nice picture )
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
